red sox 2 smaller.JPGOnly a few more days until we go to Red Sox Spring Training in Florida to interview Dustin Pedroia!  Our crew, Mary, Michael and Kevin, have been practicing diligently, and we are ready.  We'll be interviewing Dustin on St. Patrick's Day before his game against the Mets.  If you are attending, come say "Hello!" For the 4th year in a row, the Ablevision crew will be on site covering the 2010 Passion Plunge at Revere Beach.  The Passion Plunge is a very fun event in which people jump into the icy waters of Revere Beach to raise money for the Special Olympics.  This year, two members of the Triangle softball team will be plunging! To donate and help support our softball team, The Bashers, click here.

We'd love to see you on Saturday at 10AM at Revere Beach!  Stop by and say hi and be on Ablevision!

Head on over to our YouTube site to check out a slew of new videos!  These videos are part of our "Ability in the Arts" series, which highlights people with disabilities contributing to the arts.  We covered 4 stories...BILL, a band whose lead singer has a disability; GIMP, a dance troupe made up of disabled and able-bodied dancers; Claddagh Bing, an interactive dinner theatre featuring 3 of our crew members; and the I Am A Part of Art Gallery opening at the VSA.  Enjoy!

Just finished a Thank You music video to Clarks.  Through their Coupon Campaign, Clarks shoes raised over $517,000 to help people with ability!  We decided doing a music video would be a perfect tribute to this awesome achievement.  The video was shot to Hall and Oates 80s classic "You Make My Dreams Come True".  The crew shot the video over 3 days primarily using a wheelchair mounted camera to make smooth dolly shots.  Everyone pitched in and helped with costumes and props and in the end, we made a great tribute for everyone and Clarks.  Thanks for all your help!
