Since Ablevision is scripted, shot and hosted by people with disabilities, each episode is itself a work of art! Our multimedia program allows participants to explore many different areas of the media including post-production editing, photography, and social networking.
Ablevision has been featured on NBC nightly News with Brian Williams and has received a number of local and national awards. In addition, our crew has interviewed celebrities such as Tom Brady, Dustin Pedroia, Kevin James, Lauren Potter, Billy Costa from Kiss 108, and Wes Welker.
Ablevision' crew members receive innovative media training in the following areas:

The Production Crew uses high definition camera equipment to produce on-site features and interviews. Past stories have included adaptive sailing, pet theraphy, living with blindness, breakdancing and the Special Olympics.
The Studio Crew works with cutting-edge media equipment at Malden Access Television to shoot the openings and closings of each story and conduct high-end interviews.
